Dr. M. Venkata Subramanyam has been working as a professor of ECE and Principal of SANTHIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE since the inception of the college in 2007.
Dr. M. V. Subramanyam completed his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gulbarga University in 1990, followed by an M.Tech in Digital Systems and Computer Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad in 1999. He obtained his Ph.D. from JNTUH in 2007 with a research focus on Wireless Ad hoc Networks. He is currently serving as Professor of ECE and Principal of Santhiram Engineering College. Dr. Subramanyam is a Senior Member of IEEE and a life member of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Indian Society for Technical Education, and Institution of Engineers (India), reflecting his active engagement with professional bodies and contributions to the engineering community.
Dr. M. V. Subramanyam’s research interests span Wireless Networks, Image Processing, VLSI, and Communication and Control Systems. He has made significant academic contributions by producing 20 Ph.D. scholars and publishing more than 200 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has successfully completed 10 funded research projects supported by agencies such as University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education, and Institution of Engineers (India). In addition, he has an impressive innovation record with more than 50 patents published and 2 patents granted, highlighting his strong focus on research, development, and technological advancement.
Dr. M. V. Subramanyam is a recipient of several prestigious recognitions, including the Best Teacher Award from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, the Best Principal Award from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, and the Best Teacher Award from Indian Society for Technical Education. In addition to these honors, he has received numerous other awards in recognition of his excellence in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He has also delivered several technical talks at international platforms in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok, and the UAE, reflecting his global academic presence and contribution to knowledge dissemination.
