Santhiram Engineering College (Autonomous), Nandyal, successfully organized a one-day virtual webinar titled “How to be a World-Class Researcher?” on 20th December 2025. The webinar was conducted with the objective of enhancing research awareness and motivating students and faculty members to pursue high-quality research with a global perspective. The session was delivered by Prof. Sudip Chakraborty, University of Calabria, Italy, who shared his vast academic and research experience. The speaker emphasized the importance of developing a strong research mindset, identifying impactful research problems, and adhering to ethical research practices. During the webinar, key topics such as selecting appropriate research domains, understanding research methodologies, publishing in reputed international journals, and building international research collaborations were discussed in detail. The speaker also provided valuable insights into improving research writing skills, handling research challenges, and maintaining consistency in academic research.
