The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santhiram Engineering College (Autonomous), in association with the SREC IEEE Student Branch (STB17901) and IEEE Computer Society (SBC17901B), organized an alumni talk on “Microservices with Spring Boot—A Developer’s Toolkit” on 30th July 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. B. Manikanta Reddy, software development engineer at Licious, Bangalore, and an esteemed alumnus of the department. The event aimed to provide students with practical insights into modern backend development using Spring Boot and microservices architecture, along with real-time industry perspectives from the speaker’s professional experience. The HoD, faculty of the CSE Dept., and 235 III CSE students participated in this event.
