To coordinate the research and consultancy activities among the departments in the college.  The activities includes

• Consultancy

• IRG

• Research proposals to funding agencies.

• Organizing Faculty Development Program.

• Organizing Conferences / Workshops / Seminars / Symposia

• Publications of students & faculty research papers in SCI/ SCIE/ ESCI/ Scopus/ UGC indexed journals

• Paper presentation by students & faculty in Conferences / seminars.

• Maintaining the details of Students’ project work.

• Maintaining the details of Students’ Technical Seminars.

• Maintaining the details of Students’ submitted for various innovation & Incubation / Hackthon etc.,

To scrutinize the research projects submitted by the faculty members, and recommend the deserving

projects to the appropriate funding agencies for financial support.

To facilitate the National/ International research laboratories collaboration for faculties’ Research Activities.

To scrutinize the student’s project proposals to various agencies for financial support and recommend the suitable projects.

To examine the applications received from the faculty members/students for patents/awards and recommend to the concerned authorities.

To assist the National / International fellowships for students Higher studies

Maintaining the file with all details such as the name of the faculty, submitted project proposal title, to whom it has been submitted, the amount proposed for the project etc., and Preparing the Dept-wise Index for the above said file.

Monitoring the work of on-going projects regularly, and submitting the “work progress/process report” to the concerned authority.
