Students have their freedom in joining any number of professional body. It is important that you join professional bodies relating to your field and be active in the engineering professional bodies up to date information and communication in the area of competence. Students can draw a lot of benefits in being active in the professional bodies

Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders is used by a number of non-governmental organizations in various countries to describe their activity based on engineering and oriented to international development work.


Engineers without Borders- EWB was inaugurated by Dr.Dilli Babu, President, EWB-Bangalore in the year 2017

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE))

The Indian Society for Technical Education is a national, professional, non-profit Society registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860.


Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) was inaugurated by Dr. D. Satyanarayana, Prof & Head of ECE Dept., Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering & Technology, Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2009.


The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is a professional association for electronic engineering and electrical engineering with its corporate office in New York City and its operations center in Piscataway, New Jersey.


Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers- IEEE was inaugurated by Dr.M.M.M.Sarakar, Vice Chancellor, JNTU Ananthapur, Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2016.


The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI]

The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is a statutory body to promote and advance the engineering and technology, established in 1920 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1935.


The Institution of Engineers (India)  (IE (I)) was inaugurated by Dr. T. Jaya Chandra Prasad, Principal of Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering & Technology, Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2008.

The Computer Society of India (CSI)

Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members.


The Computer Society of India (CSI) was inaugurated by Dr. C. Shoba bindu,  Professor, Department of CSE, JNTU Anantapuram in the year 2013
