Academic Year 2021 - 2022

  1. One week Certificate Program On Machine Learning from 25-11-2021 to 30-11-2021 conducted by the department of ECE. The resource persons were from Madblocks Technologies Pvt Ltd. A total of 112 students have attended this program.One day on for faculty members and students of 144.

  2. The department of ECE is organizing one week program “SREC Alumni Talk”- A online webinar series from 03-07-2021 t010-07-2021. A total of 156 students have attended this program.

Academic Year 2020 - 2021

  1. One Week online Faculty development program on “RecentAdvances Electronics& Communication Engineering” from 20-07-2020 to 25-07-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE. The resource persons were from repute institutes such as IIT, NITs, IIITs.  A total of 69 faculty have attended this program.

  2. One Week online Faculty development program on “Research Issues & Challenges in   Electronics & Communication Engineering” from 5-10-2020 to 10-10-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE. The resource persons were from repute institutes such as IIT, NITs, IIITs.  A total of 125 faculty have attended this program.

  3. Five Days Workshop on “Open-Source Tools” from 14-12-2020 to 19-12-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE for non-teaching staff members. Dr.Y.Mallikarjuna Rao &Mr.S.Rambabu, Department of ECE, SREC served as a resource persons. A total of 36 staff attended the workshop.

  4. The Department of ECE held a one-day FDP for faculty on the “Research Methodologies” on 02 Jan 2021. Dr.Sanjay Sen Guptha, Principal Scientist, CSIR, New Delhi  was the program resource person. This Seminar was attended by 42 faculty members in total.

  5. One-week Add-on program on “Simulation of Digital Circuits using Logisim” from 22-01-2021 to 28-01-2021 conducted by the Department of ECE for all the II-Year B. Tech, I Semester ECE Students. Mr.N.Srinivasa Rao Assistant professor, SREC, was the resource person. 60 students participated in the Add-on programme.

  6. The Department of ECE held a one-day FDP for faculty on “Calculation of Acdemic Performance Indicator (API)” on 02 March 2021. Dr.B.V. Ram Naresh Yadav, JNTU, Hyderabad, was the program resource person. This Seminar was attended by 54 faculty members in total.

  7. The department of ECE conducted E-CLUB.21 Event program on 03-03-2021. The program was successfully completed with 50 students

  8. One Week online Faculty development program on “Machine Learning Techniques in Signal Processing” from 7-4-2021 to 11-4-2021 conducted by the Department of ECE. The resource persons was Dr.Y.Mallikarjuna Rao, Associate Professor, ECE Department, SREC.  A total of 55 faculty have attended this program.

  9. The Department of ECE held a one-day FDP for faculty on “Intellectual Property Rights & Innovations” on 19 April 2021. Mr.R.Partheepan, KXC, Chennai was the program resource person. This FDP was attended by 54 faculty members in total.

  10. The Department of ECE Organized One Day Awareness program on Career Opportunities after B.Tech on 18-05-2021 association with Mr.S.MM.Trinath, IES trainer, ACE Engineering Academy was acted as a resource person for this program and the program was successfully completed with 345students.

  11. One-week Certificate program on “Industry 4.0: Interdisciplinary Engineering” from 17-05-2021 to 22-05-2021 conducted by the Department of ECE for all the IV -Year B. Tech, I Semester ECE Students. Mr.Kishore, KXC, Chennai, was the resource person. 98 students participated in the Certificate programme.

  12. On May 25, 2019, the Department of ECE hosted a one-day awareness program for all ECE students on “Career Opportunities After B.Tech”. Mr.S.MM. Trinath, ACE academy, delivered the talk. A total of 90 students have attended this program.

  13. The Department of ECE organized a National Level Conference on Control Computation and Communication (NCCCC-2020) on 28-12-2020. The proceedings were published in a book with ISBN No.

Academic Year 2019 - 2020

  1. One-week Add-on program on “Low power VLSI Design Using EDA Tool” from 05-08-2019 to 10-08-2019 conducted by the Department of ECE for all the III & IV Year B. Tech, I Semester ECE Students. Mr.S.Rambabu, Assistant professor, SREC, was the resource person. 98 students participated in the Add-on programme.

  2. The Department of ECE organized a one-day industrial visit to Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited, Ghani, Sakunala Village, Kurnool (d.t) for II B.Tech I-Semester students on August 16, 2019. This visit drew a total of 90 students.

  3. On October 16, 2019, the Department of ECE hosted a one-day awareness program for all ECE students on “Career Opportunities for Electronics and Communication Engineers”. Mr.Narayana Swamy, Director, Engineers Gate Academy, delivered the talk. A total of 73 students have attended this program.

  4. The Department of ECE held a one-day Seminar for faculty on the “Art of Writing Research Proposals” on 26 October 2019. Mr.P.V.Gopi Krishna Rao from RGMCET  and  Mr.V.V.Subbarao, Chalapathi Institute of Technology were the program resource people. This Seminar was attended by 52 faculty members in total.

  5. The Department of ECE Organized One day Program on Program on Career in Embedded Systems on 19-12-2019, program was successfully completed with 96 students.

  6. The Department of ECE organized a one-day industrial visit to Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited, Ghani, Sakunala Village, Kurnool (D.t) for III B.Tech I-Semester students on 07-01-2020. This visit drew a total of 98 students.

  7. On 10-01-2020, the Department of ECE hosted a Rangoli competition for all female students. This event drew a total of 12 people.

  8. One-week Add-on program on “Simulation of Electronic Circuits by using E-Sim” from 03-02-2020 to 08-02-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE for all II B. Tech-II Semester ECE students. Mr.S.Arif Basha, Assistant professor, SREC, acted as resource person. 94 students were participated in the Add-on program.

  9. The department of ECE conducted E-CLUB.20 Event program on 03-03-2020. The program was successfully completed with 50 students.

  10. A One Week Short Term Training program Sponsored by AICTE on “Recent Advances in Carbon Nanotube and Graphene Based 3-D Interconnections Through Silicon Vias” was conducted by the Department of ECE for all the faculty members of Electronics & Communication Engineering from 02-03-2020 to 07-03-2020. A total of 48 faculty have attended this program.

  11. One Week online Faculty development program on “Advance Antenna Theory and Design Using HFSS” from 12-05-2020 to 17-05-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE in collaboration with IEEE, Vardhaman College of Engineering Hyderabad for faculty. Dr.Nageswara Rao, Professor of ECE and Dr. C. SULAKSHANA, Associate Professor ECE, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad,, Telangana  served as a resource persons. A total of 269 faculty have attended this program.

  12. One Week Online Faculty Development Program on “Speech Processing Applications & Challenges” from 20-05-2020 to 25-05-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE in association with IEEE, IIIT Hyderabad, Indian Society for Technical Education and The Institute of Engineers (INDIA). Dr.V.Anilkumar, Associate Professor, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad acted as resource person. This program has been attended by a total of 144 faculty members.

  13. One-week online Certificate Program on “Advanced Embedded Systems with Arduino” from 26-05-2020 to 31-05-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE for all II, III & IV B.Tech-II Semester ECE students. Mr.B.Adinarayana, Senior Engineer, ARI Global Solutions, Hyderabad was the program's resource person. This Certificate program was attended by 113 students in total.

  14. One-week online Add-on program on “IOT and Its Applications in real time” from 01-06-2020 to 06-06-2020 conducted by the Department of ECE for all II & III B. Tech-II Semester ECE students. This program's resource people were Mrs.G. Sowmya, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, SREC and Mr.N.Sreenivasa Rao, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, SREC. This Add-on program was attended by 95 students in total.

  15. The Department of ECE organized a National Level Conference on Control Computation and Communication (NCCCC-2020) on 13-6-2020. The proceedings were published in a book with ISBN No.

Academic Year 2018 - 2019

  1. One-week Certificate program on “Current Challenges and Applications of Speech Processing” from 23-07-2018 to 28-07-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for IV B. Tech-I Semester ECE students. Dr. Anil Kumar Vuppala Assistant professor, IIIT, Hyderabad acted as resource person for this program. This Certificate program was attended by a total of 60 students.

  2. One-week Add-on program on “Analysis of Electronic Circuits Using E-SIM” from 06-08-2018 to 11-08-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for II B. Tech-I Semester ECE students. Mr. S. Arif Basha, Assistant professor, SREC, acted as resource person for this program. A total of 80 students participated in this Add-on programme

  3. Three Days Workshop on “NI LABView” in association with APITA from 20-08-2018 to 22-08-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Mr.V.Jeejesh Kumar, Application Engineer, VI Solutions acted as resource person for this program. This workshop was attended by a total of 20 faculty.

  4. The Department of ECE organized a one-day industrial visit to Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited, Ghani, Sakunala Village, Kurnool (D.t) for II  B.Tech II-Semester students on 04-10-2018. This visit drew a total of 65 students.

  5. One Week FDP on “Smart Antenna Systems Model Simulation & Design” for faculty members of ECE from 20-11-2018 to 24-11-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE. Dr.S.Nagaraja Rao, GPREC, Kurnool, and Dr. Thota Ravi Theja, MRCET, Hyderabad were the program's resource people. This FDP was attended by a total of 52 faculty members.

  6.  Two-day Seminar on “Research Methodology and Manuscript writing”, was conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty members of ECE from 23-11-2018 to24-11-2018. Prof. M.L.Sai Kumar, M.Sc. (Applied Statistics), M.Tech.(C.S), IPE, Hyderabad delivered a talk. A total of 50 faculty participated in this Seminar program.

  7. The Department of ECE Organized One day Program on Career Guidance higher Education in Abroad on 21-12-2018 by alumini student Mr.A.Raghavendra Reddy,Software Engineer, HCL, program was successfully completed with 84 students.

  8. A Rangoli competition for all female students was hosted by the Department of ECE on 10-01-2019. There were 12 individuals in attendance at this event.

  9. One-week Add-on program on “IoT Based Embedded System Applications in Real Time” from 14-01-2019 to 19-01-2019 conducted by the Department of ECE for all II & III B. Tech-II Semester ECE students. Mrs.G. Sowmya Assistant professor, Department of ECE, SREC, acted as resource person for this program. A total of 60 students enrolled in the Add-on programme.

  10. The department of ECE conducted E-CLUB.19 Event program on 02-03-2019. The program was successfully completed with 50 students.

  11. One Week FDP on “Real Time Embedded Systems and IoT Applications” from 03-05-2019 to 07-05-2019 conducted by the Department of ECE for the faculty of ECE. Dr. T. Kishore Kumar of NIT-WARANGAL and Prof. R.V.S. Satyanarayana of SVU College of Engineering in Tirupati served as the program's resource persons. This FDP was attended by 37 faculty members in total.

  12. 3 Day Workshop on “Interpersonal Skills” from 13-06-2019 to15-06-2019 conducted by the Department of ECE for all teaching and non-teaching staff. The program resource people were Mr.Manish and Mr.K.Srivastava from Vardhaman College of Engineering in Hyderabad. 25 faculty & staff members participated in the workshop.

  13. The Department of ECE organized a National Level Technical Symposium SIGMA-2017 during 25-26 October 2018.

Academic Year 2017 - 2018

  1. One-week Add-on program on "Analog & Mixed VLSI Design Using EDA Tool" from 24-07-2017 to 29-07-2017 conducted by the Department of ECE for III B. Tech-I Semester ECE. Mr.S.Rambabu, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, SREC, acted as resource person. This program was attended by a total of 61 students.

  2. . The Department of ECE Organized One day  Program on Career Orientation & Planning in ECE Domain on 28-10-2017 by alumini student Mr. G. Karthik, Software Engineer, Cognizant program was successfully completed with 61 students.

  3. One Week FDP on “Recent Trends in Image Processing” for all the faculty members of ECE from 04-11-2017 to 08-11-2017 conducted by the Department of ECE. Mr.K.V.Eswaramurthy, IIITDM Kurnool, and Dr.A.Siva Sankar, KMMITS, Tirupati served as resource people. This FDP was attended by a total of 42 faculty members.

  4. On 10-01-2018, the Department of ECE hosted a Rangoli competition for all female students. This event drew a total of 12 people.

  5. One-week Certificate program on “Recent Trends in Digital Image Processing and its Applications” from 29-01-2018 to 03-02-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for IV B. Tech-II Semester ECE students. Mr.Y. Praveen Kumar Reddy Research Scholar, BITS, Dubai Campus was the resource person for this program. This program was attended by a total of 80 students.

  6. The department of ECE conducted E-CLUB.18 Event program on 03-03-2018. The program was successfully completed with 50 students.

  7. One Week Faculty Development Program on “Recent Advances in Analog and Digital Communications” from 28-02-2018 to 04-03-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Mr.C.Subhas, Professor of ECE, SreeVidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh, Professor of ECE, MITS, Madanapalli, Andhra Pradesh gave the talks. The Add-on programme drew a total of 73 students’ active participation.

  8. The Department of ECE hosted a one-day industrial visit to AIR-Kurnool for II B.Tech II-Semister students on March 12, 2018. A total of 55 students attended this tour.

  9. One week Add-on program on “Electronic Circuits Design and Analysis Based on E-Sim Tool" from 26-03-2018 to 31-03-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE for II B.Tech-II Semester ECE students. Mr.S.Arif Basha, Assistant Professor, SREC served as the program's resource person. This program was attended by a total of 93 students.

  10. The Department of ECE hosted a three-day workshop on “Effective Team Building for Non-teaching Staff” from May 5 to May 7, 2018. Dr. Ramesh Naik, Professor of ECE, GATES Institute of Technology, Gooty, presented the talk. A total of 23 faculty members attended the workshop.

  11. One week faculty development program on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Information Technology Act (ITA)” from 04-06-2018 to 09-06-2018 conducted by the Department of ECE. Mr.MKanta Babu, Anna University and Dr.K.Gopi, SITAMS, Chittoor were the program's resource people. This FDP was attended by a total of 48 faculty members.

  12. The Department of ECE organized an International Level Conference on Advances in Engineering, Management and Sciences during14-15 July 2017. This visit drew a total of 114 participants. The proceedings were published in a book with ISBN No.

Academic Year 2016 - 2017

  1. One Week Faculty Development Program on “Recent Advances in RF and Microwave Engineering” from 07-03-2016 to 11-03-2016 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Mr. D.Prasad and Dr.A.Satish, RGMCET presented the talks. A total of 45 faculty have attended this program.

  2. One week Add-on program on “Image Processing using MATLAB” from 25-07-2016 to 30-07-2016 conducted by the Department of ECE for IV-I Semester students. Mr.S.Munawwar, Assistant professor of ECE, SREC acted as resource person for this program. A total of 80 students have attended this program.

  3. One week Certificate program on “VLSI Circuit Design using AARON Tools” from 08-08-2016to13-08-2016 conducted by the Department of ECE for III & IV B. Tech-I Semester ECE students. The content was delivered by P. Karthik Sharma, Application Engineer at Trident Tech Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad. A total of 80 students have attended this program.

  4. The Department of ECE Organized Program on Backend Design Concepts and Job Opportunities in VLSI on 29-10-2016 by alumini student Mr. K.Arun Kumar,Software Engineer, INTEL program was successfully completed with 64 students.

  5. From the 13th to the 17th of November 2016, the Department of ECE hosted a one-week faculty development program on “Signal Processing Applications”. The sessions were delivered by Dr. K.Suresh Reddy Professor, G PullaRedddy Engineering College, Kurnool. A total of 70 faculty have attended this FDP.

  6. Two day program on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” from 14-12-2016 to 15-12-2016 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Dr. B.Seshaiah, Assistant professor of Basic Sciences Department, SREC acted as resource person for this program. A total of 43 faculty have attended this program.

  7. On 10-01-2017, the Department of ECE hosted a Rangoli competition for all female students. This event drew a total of 12 people.

  8. Three Days Workshop on “Modern Office Management” from 05-02-2017 to 07-02-2017 for non-teaching staff members conducted by the Department of ECE. This program was attended by a total of 43 faculty members.

  9. On 09-02-2017, the Department of ECE organized a one-day industrial visit to AIR-Kurnool for II B.Tech II-Semester students. This visit was attended by 54 students in total.

  10. ​The department of ECE conducted E-CLUB.17 Event program on 03-03-2017. The program was successfully completed with 50 students.

  11. One week Add-on program on "IoT Based Embedded System Applications in Real Time" from 20-03-2017 to 25-03-2017 conducted by the Department of ECE for II & III B. Tech-II Semester ECE, presented by Mrs. G. Sowmya, Assistant professor of ECE, SREC. A total of 80 students have attended this program

  12. The Department of ECE hosted a one-day industrial visit to Sprout Energy Pvt.Ltd.for II B.Tech II-Semester students on 08-04-2017. A total of 54 students attended this tour.

  13. One Week FDP on “Emerging issues in VLSI Design” from 09-05-2017 to 13-05-2017. Dr.V.SumaLatha, JNTUA, Anantapuramu, and Dr.N.Siva Sankar Reddy VCE, Hyderabad delivered the session talks as part of a faculty development program organized by the Department of ECE. This program was attended by a total of 50 faculty members.

  14. The Department of ECE organized a National Level Technical Symposium SIGMA-2017 during 28-29September 2016.

Academic Year 2015 - 2016

  1. One week Certificate program on "VLSI circuits Design Using Mentor Graphics Tools" from 03-08-2015 to 08-08-2015 conducted by the Department of ECE for ECE IV B. Tech-I Semester & II M. Tech I– Semester (VLSISD). Mr.P.Karthik Sharma, Application Engineer, Trident Tech labs Pvt.Ltd  acted as a resource person. A total of 120 students have attended the certificate program.

  2. The Department of ECE hosted a one-day industrial visit to EMFACT EmbededSystems, Hyderabad for III B.Tech I-Semester students on 14-10-2015. A total of 52 students attended this tour.

  3. One day Seminar on “Research Methodologies” on 21-10-2015 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty and students. Dr. D.Satyanarayana,  RGMCET acted as a resource person. A total of 46 faculty and students have attended this Seminar.

  4. One Week Faculty Development Program on “Advance Topics in Analog IC Design” from 09-11-2015 to 13-11-2015 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Dr.P.Srihari Rao of NIT-Warangal and Dr.P.Ramanthan from MITS-Madanapalli served as resource people. A total of 47 faculty have attended the Faculty Development program.

  5. On 09-01-2016, the Department of ECE hosted a Rangoli competition for all female students. This event drew a total of 12 people.

  6. Three Days Workshop on “Basics of Computer Knowledge” from 18-01-2016 to 20-01-2016 conducted by the Department of ECE for non-teaching staff members. Mr. S. Md. Riyaz Naik, Department of CSE, SREC served as a resource person. A total of 46 staff attended the workshop.

  7. On February 9, 2016, the Department of ECE sponsored a one-day industrial visit to Kurnool FM Radio Station for II B. Tech II-Semester students. This tour drew a total of 64 students.

  8. One Week Certificate program on "Embedded System Applications in Communications" was conducted by the Department of ECE for II & III-II Semester ECE students from 22-02-2016 to 27-02-2016. Mr. B. Adinarayana, Senior Engineer, ARI Global Solutions delivered the Sessions talk. A total of110 students have attended the certificate program.

Academic Year 2014 - 2015

  1. One week Certificate program on " Advanced Wireless Communication Technologies" from 18-08-2014 to 23-08-2014 conducted by the Department of ECE for ECE IV B. Tech-I Semester & II M. Tech I– Semester (VLSISD). Mr. A Madhukar, Engineers Forum, Bangalore acted as a resource person. A total of 89 students have attended the certificate program.

  2. One day Seminar on “Effective Research Methodologies: Strategic Approaches” on 27-10-2014 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty and students. Dr. V. Ashok Kumar, Professor of EEE, RGMCET acted as a resource person. A total of 64 faculty and students have attended this Seminar.

  3. One Week Faculty Development Program on “Recent Advances in Nanoelectronics: Circuits & Systems” from 17-11-2014 to 22-11-2014 conducted by the Department of ECE for faculty. Mr.A.Sathish Kumar, Associate Professor of ECE, RGMCET was the resource Person. A total of 56 faculty have attended the Faculty Development program.

  4. Three Days Workshop on “Basics of Computer Networks: Practical Approaches” from 27-01-2015 to 29-01-2015 conducted by the Department of ECE for non-teaching staff members. Mr. J. David Sukeerthi Kumar, Department of CSE, SREC served as a resource person. A total of 36 staff attended the workshop.
